First, my heart goes out to you. I know what it is to lose a son, too. And when we lost him, it was comforting to know that God understood so well what it was to have a loved son die. Even harder, I’m sure, since my son died suddenly and didn’t suffer more than a few minutes.
I also find it interesting that God’s sign for Moses that God had sent him was to come after the completion of the mission — not before. After the people had been delivered, Moses would come back to the mountain to worship. When God calls, we don’t always get a sign before we obey. Sometimes it comes afterwards.
