Glenn I have had problems whenever I’ve done a 30 day challenge. I’ve never done one here - only on my own blogs. But I’ve never much seen the sense in them. It might work in getting a blog started and I know being consistent is important. But sometimes quality matters more than just showing up every day.

I don’t write consistently here anymore because I’ve gone back to book selling. That requires a lot of my time. I’ve considered writing something at HubPages again, but I’ve just been too tired. I have too many irons in too many different fires.

I spend a lot of time on some Medium articles that I intend to last. But right now I’m only writing little short pieces just to get writing here again. One pub I write for has a group of writers who support rather than compete with each other and that helps.

What scares me is that as I’m growing older writing is getting harder. What used to come easily takes much more effort now. But I know the effort helps keep my brain working.

I guess we’ll just have to play this Medium game day-by-day and see how it turns out. As we’ve learned from past experience sites come and go and it’s always good to keep our eggs in more than one basket.
