I had an online store for PreK-12 teaching resources and children’s literature. in 2014 I had to take a two-month break after some surgeries made it hard to get to my office and to ship. By the time I could put my store back online the software had changed and I would have had to completely redo a 600-page site. Most of my regular customers had left during the time my site was down. I was discouraged and didn’t have the heart to find a solution so I started blogging instead.
I kept everything in storage until this summer when I decided I had to decide. Either I would start to sell again and get some cash for the thousands of dollars of inventory I have or I would close the business. I wanted my house back.
By this time new opportunities for selling with less overhead presented themselves and I took advantage of them and opened a store on Biblio.com. I sell new and used books for all ages, but I still specialize in educational books. My store name at Biblio is Barb’s People Builders and I also sell as @barbspeoplebuilders on Instagram.
