I’m afraid I never got into fantasy, but I know it’s popular with many. I never really got into science fiction, either. I have read a bit of Ray Bradbury, whom I had the privilege of meeting in an unexpected way and he even treated me as part of a group, to lunch. I was a bit embarrassed to admit to him I’d never read one of his books, but I asked which of his books was most important to him. He said it was The Martian Chronicles. So I read it. Unfortunately, he was dead by then, so he never knew that I had started to read his books, which he said were not really science fiction at all. If not, they must have been fantasy. They definitely had an anti-censorship theme.

Is your book purely for entertainment? Or does it, like Bradbury’s books, have a message you want your readers to take away from it.?
