I think sometimes people are so focused on solving distant problems they would not even know about without the internet, they neglect what they can do to make a difference in their own neighborhoods. If we could each be kind to our neighbors and help those we see who are struggling, it just might help solve the problems of the wider world — especially if every community did that. Better to spend our energy where we really can make a difference.
