Thank you for this. I’ll have to check it out. My irregular heart rhythm problems seem to be medically controlled for a time, but my last episode came with a lot of stomach pain — so much I considered dialing 911. I didn’t because I was too tired to face another night without sleep and I suspected they’d keep me overnight for observation as they often do. I got some sleep and felt better the next day. On two previous occasions, my cardiologist said my palpitations weren’t life-threatening and I’d made the right decision not to go to the ER. The symptoms had some differences this time. I knew that in women a bad stomach ache may replace chest pain as a heart attack symptom, but I did not know about Roemheld Syndrome.
