Your landscape photos are spectacular. I recognized Chicago and Los Angeles, but the rest of the roads might have been anywhere. I have been on parts of Route 66 in New Mexico near Gallup, and the old gas stations and abandoned buildings seem to be everywhere. I personally prefer scenery without buildings on my road trips — at least until I need to gas up or find a place to eat or sleep. I enjoyed your hotel rating system. I’ll have to keep that in mind for my next road trip. I’ve usually had good luck with Best Western, but they are often short of electric sockets. I’m looking forward to your next episode.
How do you get the cinerama effect with the super wide photos that make you feel you are really on the road?
